HOW DO I MEET, CONNECT, GROW AND SERVE WITH OTHERS?

Get to know each other...

Share a cup of coffee and light snack after worship services, where friendships can begin.

Grow together...

Participate in one of several Bible studies that meet during the week.  Our small group bible studies include fellowship, so you can easily get to know others. Click here to learn more.

Serve side by side...

There are plenty of ways you can join us as we serve on Sunday mornings and throughout the week at FPCU. Here are a few ways you can serve:

FRONT DESK | At the Church | Monday through Thursday

Volunteers help answer phones at our front desk while our administrative staff takes their lunch breaks. We also have occasional opportunities to help prepare mailings for the congregation and other congregational administrative projects.  If you would like to serve in this way, contact Denise Beckler, our Office Manager. You can email Denise at

VIP LUNCH | At the Church | Every 3rd Wednesday (Postponed)

12:00 to 1:30 pm | Church Cafe
Every month our church serves a delicious free lunch and a brief program to our Seniors (VIP's over 70). Our volunteers help set up and serve the food, and you can serve as often as you are able. Contact Lenord Swope, our Congregational Care and Fellowship Coordinator,  to learn more about getting involved.

TECH + SOUND TEAMS | At the Church | Sundays

Our audio and technology team is always looking for people to help ensure our Sunday morning services run smoothly. Our Music Director, Denise Beckler, will guide and train all volunteers so they feel confident in their roles. (No prior experience needed!)  You can email Denise at

MUSIC + WORSHIP | At the Church | Sundays

Our contemporary worship team is always looking for new musicians and singers to join.  Contact our Music Director, Denise Beckler for more information about practice schedules and rotations.  You can email Denise at

GREETING | At the Church | Sundays TBA

Join a team of warm, inviting women and men from FPCU each Sunday as the welcoming presence of our church. There are several greeting teams on rotation, so each team serves every sixth week. To learn more about joining the team, you can reach out to Betty Hook, our Congregational Care Deacon. You can email her at

USHERS | At the Church | Sundays

Our ushers help facilitate worship during our sanctuary services by welcoming people, handing out bulletins, collecting the offering, and helping newcomers find their way. If you are interested in joining our Ushers team, please contact David Head, our Ushers coordinator at

BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS | At the Church | As Needed

Our B & G Team of women and men spruce up the church on a Saturday morning every other month and also as needed. There is usually something for everyone! Email Don Pera at  for more information.
